About the Event

Introducing SVTA's first annual Summer Sizzle Junior Clinic! Summer Sizzle is a chance for middle-schoolers to learn fundamentals, scoring, and other aspects of tennis in a fun and active environment! This 8-session clinic is led by certified tennis instructor Dave Moreland, who will be assisted by other local tennis coaches.​

  • Who can play:

    • Boys and girls

    • Ages 11-14

  • When: July 9th - August 1st

    • Tuesdays and Thursdays​

    • 5:00-6:30pm

    • Please note: The first session is being held Wednesday, July 9th due to court closures on Tuesday the 8th​​

  • Where: Skagit Valley College Tennis Courts

  • Cost: $100

  • Registration deadline: July 3rd

  • Racquets will be provided as needed

  • How much tennis experience do I need? No experience required; this clinic is open to players of all levels.

  • What should I bring? A water bottle, sneakers/tennis shoes, racquets (if already owned), and a desire to learn and have fun!

  • Are scholarships available? Yes! SVTA wants all players to be able to participate, regardless of financial concerns. Email svtennisassoc@gmail.com for more information regarding scholarships.​
