Successful Children of the Valley Tennis Enrichment Program

This fall Skagit Valley Tennis Association collaborated with Children of the Valley to implement a first ever tennis enrichment program. USTA Pacific North West provided a $1000 grant to support the program. Program Director Natalie Scammell introduced 15 elementary age children to tennis over eight weeks. Volunteers from the MV Bulldog High School tennis program, Sophia Greshiskin, Samantha Stewart and Farah Briseno, helped to implement the program. "I really enjoyed working with the kids and seeing how much fun they had learning a new sport. I want to thank everyone who helped make this possible and hope the program continues to be available for these incredible kids!" said Natalie Scammell, program director.
