NICK WHITON MEMORIAL TOURNAMENT
Adult Tennis Tournament
WHEN AND WHERE?
July 15 - 16, 2023 at the Skagit Valley College tennis courts.
WHO CAN PLAY?
Any adult, 18 years and up, and recent high school graduates are encouraged to play. Registration is $60 per player for one event, or $90 per player for two events. The tournament consists of men's and women's singles and doubles, as well as mixed doubles.
WHAT IS INCLUDED?
Each player is guaranteed at least 2 matches per event. Players will receive a lunch, all-day snacks and a tournament gift. Prizes will be awarded to the winners.
About Nick:
Nick was the beloved Burlington-Edison junior varsity boys and girls tennis coach, and previously played tennis at B-EHS and Skagit Valley College. Nick's caring and fun-loving coaching style led many an aspiring tennis player to excel and grow as tennis players and as people.
Nick Whiton passed away on Sunday, April 25th, 2009 after a brief and heroic battle with gallbladder cancer.
